After a massive Corporate downsizing, I have changed careers and turned to the Healthcare field. I have over 30 years experience taking care of family and clients, ranging from neonatal, special needs including quadriplegia, to hospice care. The last 20 years have also included dementia/stroke, oxygen, TPN, feeding tubes and post operative care. In addition, I have also been asked by 2 clients to become their personal assistant. This included travel to the grocery store, doctor appointments, downsizing homes, moving packing and unpacking, traveling across country and also property managed my clients home while it was on the market to sell. I Am Trustworthy And Dependable Love My Ministry Comforting Others While Helping And Caring For Others Not Knowing That I Would Be Taking Care Of My Husband Who Was Diagnose With Bone Cancer I Was His Hospice CNA For All Most Two Years At Home He Was Grateful That I Had The Experience And So Was I This Is Truly A Gift From God To Be Able To Meet And Work With So Many Wonderful People I Also Have References To Prove My History Of Work I Have Been In The Field As A C.N.A For 32 yrs. And I Am Glad To Say I Am Not Burn Out Or Tired Of My Ministry Caring For Others. It Was Truly A Honor To Be My Husband Personal Hospice C.N.A Before He Passed I Often Would Hear Him Telling Family Members And Friends How He Was Proud And Glad He To Have Me As His Care Giver Knowing What To Do For Him And Making It Easy For Him To Be Home Also Northwestern Hospice Register Nurse Along With Their Team Was Very Please With The Care For My Husband That I Was Able To Give Him It Was A Joy Full Of Precious Memories My Experience Is Working Hospital, Nursing Home, Private Duty, Live In-Live Out,Hospice, Setter Cases 32yrs Of Service.

Single mom of a teenager Started caregiving 6 years ago The people I have met has made me a stronger person and I love what I do, love the variety of people I have met , but in this job you have to be very patient and know how to deal with a lot of challenges and behaviors, are jobs aren't easy and you have to deal with stressful situations and know how to deal with them , every year we have to take are annual Training and refresher courses, my main specialty is Dementia and Alzheimer's disease, but that's why I love my job to help people and sometimes they need to someone to talk too, or just a shoulder to cry on, being a single parent makes me stronger in doing my job and know I have someone to live for and help older clients in there daily lives and endeavors.

Hello, I am Becca. I am married and 4 beautiful kids. I am a hard worker and very compassionate about my job. I am a great caregiver because I love taking care of people. It probably all started when I was about 13 years old and I took care of my great great aunt. I used to help my grandma ( which was a nurse) take care of my aunt. My grandma thought that I needed to take care of people when I was older since she told me that I was so good at it. So that's exactly what I have been doing. The most thing I like about being a caregiver is that the people I take of. I love hearing their stories and hearing about their life; it's so fascinating.
