After a massive Corporate downsizing, I have changed careers and turned to the Healthcare field. I have over 30 years experience taking care of family and clients, ranging from neonatal, special needs including quadriplegia, to hospice care. The last 20 years have also included dementia/stroke, oxygen, TPN, feeding tubes and post operative care. In addition, I have also been asked by 2 clients to become their personal assistant. This included travel to the grocery store, doctor appointments, downsizing homes, moving packing and unpacking, traveling across country and also property managed my clients home while it was on the market to sell. How can I be of help to you?

My passion for the health field is phenomenal. I love what I do for a living and my mission in life is to take care of all God's people. I'm fully trained with hoyer lifts, transfers, bathing, feeding and ect. I enjoy helping others and bring light to people lives!

I am a fun loving caregiver. I strive to give my best effort to provide excellent care and bring joy and laughter to their lives. It's my passion to assist the elderly to stay in their homes. I enjoy being around the elderly but didn't have grandparents close to me so it's been fun to sort of join families. What I enjoy the most is when I feel I have formed an connection with my clients. My greatest accomplishments has been having long term clients. I recently witnessed a client be able to stay in her home and pass at the age of 102

There are many great reasons why people become caregivers. My reason for becoming a caregiver is my passion for helping others, especially those in need. I enjoy being a caregiver because it is a very rewarding experience to be a blessing to others. I found that I am wonderful at helping others. Finding my career path is the greatest achievment I have experienced yet. I am a caring, compassionate, hard working person. I am experienced in the field and love what I do.

I've been certified for almost three years now but have been giving direct patient/ resident care for about two years. I've worked in just about every setting. From hospital surgical floors to Emergency Rooms to Assisted Living homes to Long Term Care Facilities. I will always listen to the needs of your family member and put their wishes above all. I have enjoyed being a care taker long before I was certified and have known from a very young age that this is what I'm meant to do. I plan on going back to school after taking a break to get my RN.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I like to make a difference in someone's life. I strive to make my clients and families comfortable happy and make there lives easier. While giving unconditional kindness and consistent care, there is great joy when opting to help someone in need. Caregivers provide a fantastic service to families who have been caring for someone they love but need a break to keep up with all the other demands of life.

What makes me a great caregiver is I'm dependable patient caring and smart. I became a caregiver because I love working with the elderly and sick. I love seeing a smile on their face when I do a good job. I'm a good cook. I'm also a good cleaner.

I am cna certified and also am cpr certified. I have been working in the health field since 15 starting as a dietary aide then going on to laundry and housekeeping . Then was put through classes for cna I have been certified for 14 years as a aide and I absolutely love meeting new people helping others and connecting with people as friends not just a caregiver as well . I do not have a drivers license but that absolutely does not stop me from being responsible and dependable when I say I will be or am suppose to be somewhere I will be there most times even earlier then said . I am still able to always grab a few things needed from the grocery store or Walmart as I myself always am needing things. So please don't count me out on the fact that I don't have a license I am still a very dependable and loving caring person who can still do the tasks asked with out one. A little about my family I am a mother of two a daughter who is a senior this year and a son who is in 4th grade my son has autism and adhd so I am also experienced in that and I am also expecting one on the way due in February. What made me decide to be a caregiver is because so many people need help in this world some don't receive the proper care they need everyday although I can't help everyone I want to try and do my part in some way to help someone have a better day then before

I've worked with multiple people, that never failed to mention how much of a delight I am to have around. Not only do I make sure that someone feels okay, I don't mind cleaning up any messes. In my spare time if I'm not walking my dog I'm always at work. I don't mention on my resume but I also do help babysit my families children. I have great people skills and I love working in a healthy fun environment.
