I love taking care of others. I love ensuring my patients families that they are in the best hands possible. I am passionate about my patients health, and their overall well-being. I am a caring soul, and often times find myself being an over achiever with absolutely no regret when it comes to those in my life. I lost my grandpa years ago and it was one of the hardest things for me. He resided in a nursing home that he wasn't getting the best care from. It broke me in every way possible. When we went to take him out, he was put on hospice the day of. We then lost him the day after. I became adamant and insisted on giving the best care in the healthcare setting. I started working in the nursing field, and refused to give anything less then my best effort. I strive to make families feel different than mine did. I go beyond expectation to make my patients feel loved, and taken care of.

I am very empathetic and I love taking care of people especially the older ones. I am punctual and very trustworthy. I have worked in various healthcare positions. I think my willingness to learn and my love for taking care of people definitely attracted me to this profession. I love their faces and smiles when you do the smallest things but they are so big to them and the satisfaction of making sure their taken care of at the end of every shift. I'm proud of getting into healthcare to being with its always been my passion and to continue in healthcare is my best person achievement.

I have been a caregiver my entire life, I started out as a CNA at age 17 I did that as well as home health care for several years then I went to college and acquired my associates degree in Medical Assisting. Then I worked at an opthalmology practice for 3 years then a Cardiology center for 2 and most recently I've been employed as a direct care staff taking care of clients in their home. Hello my name is Michelle Dayton. I have worked in home healthcare for close to 25 years. I have been State certified as a CNA in both Michigan and Indiana. I am not currently certified but I am a registered HHA. I get tremendous enjoyment of taking care of others. My healthcare career started as a volunteer for hospice after I lost my grandparents. I've seen what amazing work they did and how at peace my grandparents were when they passed and I chose to pay it forward. I am a little more picky on the people I take care of then other Aides for two reasons: 1. If the client and I seem to clash it's no good for anyone. So I will not waste your time or my own. I will just respectfully decline the offer. 2. The clients I take on will not be just a clients. I love my people like they're my own family and I will do my absolute best to meet every need they have. If I cannot accomplish that I will find someone who can and put you in touch with them, because there's no sense in your family members being unhappy and uncomfortable in their own home. I feel that I am very caring and compassionate with each and every client that I've had. I believe everyone deserves respect, kindness and a voice( your opinion matters to me!) I will never force your family members to do something they don't want to do. I feel they have live through several wars, a great depression and a whole lot of hardship in the past and now is their time to be pampered. If your family member needs anything or you have questions about anything if I can't answer them I will find the answers and if I have the answers I will let you know.

I am caring and compassionate about taking care of others. I'm dedicated to making sure my clients receive the care they deserve and need. I have also been a Medical Assistant for the last five years. I enjoy the pleasure I receive from helping others. I have learned so much from helping others.

Hello! My name is Dani and I am a PhD student at Miami University. I have both a bachelors and masters degree in psychology and currently study behavioral neuroscience. During my undergraduate career I worked in senior care (5 years), and while my current position is rewarding- I truly miss being a caregiver. Being a caregiver allows you to know individuals on a deep and intimate level while helping them and their families transition during a very challenging time. I have a wide range of experience and enjoy learning new things- further, I would consider myself to be very patient, kind and reliable (essential traits for this kind of work!). I became a caregiver almost 6 yrs ago after becoming a Medical Assistant. I have taken care of many different families and helped them with their parents needs.
