I am generally a happy person who likes to keep busy. I feel that if you can do something now to make your tomorrows better, you should. I became a caregiver for a family member suffering with cancer. As her disease progressed I fould that I was good at managing the details of her disease and helping her gave me comfort. Making her life less stressful and ensuring she had the level of care she deserved made me happy. Hearing her stories and learning from her was one of the great experiences of my life.

Being a caregiver is more than a job. It is a passion. It is important to me that we give back and take care of the elder generation. I have always loved helping others and being a very outgoing and caring person, this has always been a great job for me. I have pride in the work I do. I enjoy the relationships I make and to know my clients are well taken care of. I treat my clients like they are my family!! I have tons of experience and I'm reliable and trustworthy!

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very responsible, dependable and work my best to make the one I am taking care of feel special and happy every day I care for them. What attracted me to becoming a Caregiver was that I was needing a job since I had just moved back to my hometown and filled out an application with Kelly Girls, an agency that hired people for different jobs. I was called to care for an 80 year + lady and enjoyed it. It was not what I went to College for, but continued to do both working in Administrative work and then part-time as a Caregiver. The thing that I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is the stories of those I care for. There is so much history that they have to share...even those from different parts of the Country and learning how different things were from then to now. My Mother was born in the Depression years and experienced the years of WWII, where 3 of her brothers were part of. It's the elderly who helped build the life around us and them being nurtured by their parents to give us a better tomorrow. I believe the most personal achievement I can say I am proud of is that I was taught good work ethics by my Mom, who was a farm girl. I started working at age 11 and have worked many different types of work and am a fast learner. I paid for my own College and worked at times 2 jobs to pay for my own apartment. In the Caregiving field, I have been taught some things that a Nurse is qualified for, but taught by the family of their loved one how to do certain tasks. I am very respectful of people and their property.

My passion is to help care for someone. I've been caregiver since 2001. I got into this due to takin care of my papaw. I love listen to stories and pictures of them.

I became a caregiver to help those in need . I like being a caregiver because I like making a difference in someones life that is not capable of caring for themselves.I obtained my CNA's, first aide and CPR classes in 1999. I am reliable, patient and a kind-hearted person . I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated.

I love helping out the elderly. I'm currently trying to find a job in Kentucky. My mom is a nurse and her nurse friends and they inspired me. I love taking care of elderly citizens they deserve to be treated like every one else. I want to give back to the community that I'm moving to or any community in that matter

I enjoy helping people of any age or race. I cared for my dad after his stroke and my mom had cancer and was bed ridden . I enjoy this type of work it's very rewarding! My personal achievement is - I raised two children and have been married to the same man for 48 yrs . No greater Accomplishment then to care for others and to be able to help someone else also!

I had become a Caregiver because I like to help others. I have worked with Individuals with disabilities for over 7 years. I enjoy most making a difference in peoples lives, and giving comfort to those who need it. I still have Individuals that I have worked with that I visit even though I no longer work with them. I stride to make people comfortable, and make the best of most situations.
