My name is Lindsay I've been a caregiver for over 2 years I've worked in many nursing homes and even hospitals. The love for caregiving has always been a passion of mine I love to make people smile and help where its a bit harder. I always make great food for my clients and I also do arts and crafts that I supply myself! My great grandma has many health conditions and I help here often. I also have a niece and nephew with autism who I do my own therapy with that helps them both tremendously. I had the best example.. my grandmother has been taking care of elderly in her home for over 40 years so she taught me everything that I needed to do this job I feel like God gave me this calling. I am 31 years old I have been a caregiver for 10 years. Within those 10 years I cared for my own father so with that being said I care for others loved ones like I would my own. I know how hard it is to find someone to care for your loved one as if you would. I am loving , and caring. I believe in treating others how you would like to be treated.

As a Nurse aide I provide direct patient care in nursing homes and in other settings such as hospital long-term care wards, community rehabilitation or private home settings. Duties can include taking vital signs, assisting residents to move about the home or facility, helping them manage their meals and use bathroom facilities, transferring, turning, lifting or positioning bedridden patients, offering emotional support, rehabilitative exercises, bathing, grooming, feeding, and all other aspects of care as allowed by state laws and regulations.
