I get my enjoyment from knowing that I help someone smile and have a better quality of life. My personal achievement is always being able to support my family in times when they need my help. I have been a caregiver before dealing with a elderly woman who had dementia I would play remembering games to try to help her. I truly enjoyed being with this woman seeing her face would brighten up my day. My mother as well was sick my entire life and I cared for her until she passed away. I know how to deal with diabetes, wounds, dieting meals/food prep, medicine giving, and amputees. What made me get into care giving was because of my mother. I enjoy talking to and being around elderly people because of their knowledge and wisdom they can teach you so much.
