I love my residents, I also love helping others .. I started off working in health care as a housekeeper and I got attached to the residents and started wanting to help more so I got my temp cna .. I enjoy the most about caregiving is helping them with things they cannot do they self .. my personal achievement is that I started last year and April and now still going with my career

I have been doing Home Health Care for 20+ years. I have taken care of a wide variety of clients right down to family. I feel that since I was taken care of by the state as a child, my way of giving back is to take care of my loved ones. I enjoy seeing the smile on my client's faces when I walk through their door. I had to retire in 2004 because I became very ill with lymphedema and a very painful bladder disease called interstitial cystitis. Being severely ill has made me even more caring and compassionate for anyone suffering from any illness. I like to incorporate family into my patient care as much or as little as the family member is comfortable.
