Hello! My name is Rocio Whitten and I have been a caregiver since 2002. I am from Colombia and moved to the United States in 1997. I started off as an independent caregiver when my neighbor asked me to take care of their mother, and from then I found my deep passion for this career. For a few years I continued to care give independently, but then, in 2011, I decided to start working with a company to have more consistency with individuals I got to serve. I have worked with many family's in the passing years, with whom I've met lots of great people to care for. Many have become good friends and almost like family. That's what happens when you spend so much time caring for a person, it becomes more personal but on a very professional level.
