Hello, I'm Ariel I've been working in the caregiving field for 4 years. I've worked mostly nursing homes, so I'm really interested in the one on one caregiving style. I have experience in CPR, first aid, AED training, and medication administration. I'm also familiar with memory care, worked it for 2 years. I got my STNA (state tested nursing assistant) license in 2018 through my high school's college program. I've worked for three nursing facilities and two agencies. I just love getting to know my residents, they always have such beautiful and timeless stories to tell, talking to them is truly my favorite pass time.

I orginally received my STNA in 1990 when I was a freshman in high school, and I have been doing that type of work since. I absolutely love taking care of people, helping them in their time of need, meeting their needs in advance, organizing their life and being a companion and a friend. I love what I do and am very passionate about it.

I am very outgoing, happy person. I have been working with elderly for 15 years, started as an Stna, activities, medical assistant and dietary. I'm a mom of five and very hard working and compassionate.

I became a caregiver because I have a heart for people also to better learn how to care for my mother. Hello, my name is Angela Dave. I am 20 years old almost 21. I have been doing healthcare work since I've been in high school and have been a certified STNA since a senior in high school. When I was a Jr. in high school I got pregnant and gave birth to my son 1 week before my senior year started. That's when I really buckled down and started to focus on what I need and want to do with my life because I had a whole other life to take care of. My son is now 3 and I've worked in a couple different areas of the healthcare field. In the beginning I did mostly STNA work in nursing homes, then I changed that up a bit and started doing home Health Care work. After high school I went to Mount Union for a year to persue my nursing license. When I went out to school my son wasn't even 1 yet and we were their by ourselves so it got a little difficult. After a year of that I decided it would be best for me to just work for the moment and focus on my son because trying to all three on my own was a little difficult. When I moved back home I started doing some home healthcare work and with that I really enjoyed it. I liked it better then the nursing home environment because you can better get to know your patients and build a relationship with them. I have always been a very giving person and have always had the desire to help someone else.

What inspired me to be a caregiver was my great-grandmother. She lived with my grandmother who was her caregiver. It inspired me to want to help other people, who may not have family members/friends who are able to provide them with care 24/7. Being a caregiver makes me smile because I know I am helping other people. I will be attending college online, starting in August to earn my BSW (Social Work). I earned my STNA while I was in High School. I attended school in the day time and at night I went to STNA school.

I enjoy speaking and talking with people I take care of learning about them making them feel that they are still person I myself have multiple sclerosis so I know how it feels to not feel like everyone else and everyone's body does a different thing it shouldn't change a person who they are just because of their age mental or physical abilities

I listen to them. I treat them as if they were my own family. I love helping people. My dad had a stroke and I took care of him and that gave me a passion for helping people. Getting to know someone and making sure they are taken care of very well. Personal achievement is making a long lasting impression on my patients. I'm very loving g and caring
