Before I thought that I was a really patient person because I used to take care of my love ones,friends, neighbors,etc even when they've shown bad actitudes or behaviors or situations that you really need to understand , love , and accepts and be able to just offer them your help. But I realized that is not just patience what i need , is also compassion, and consciousness that we all need each other's as a human being. I think this is the most important part for being a great caregiver . When I discovered that ,I deside to become a caregiver ,and I love to be part of all this wonderful ladies, and gentlemen life's that I have been able to work with. I feel so blessed after so many years helping getting all the knowledges ,wisdom ,kindness,and so much love ,etc from them. I have plenty of experience from general prompting to fulfill daily tasks to hands on patient care and I've worked on a lock down unit for dementia and Alzheimer's patients as well as bed ridden tracheotomy patient care. I feel that I have a great personality and excellent care strategies. I am a wife and mother of soon to be 5 children which brings me to why I haven't continued my medical education for my doctorates degree as initially planned out of high school. I've always had a passion for helping people and I have intentions of continuing my education down the road but for now I currently administrate in home child care during the week and I'm seeking some evening hours of home health care and possibly a weekend shift !
