i am a good worker and work on my schedule.

I've been doing this for 29 years and I love it! I specialize In memory care however with that said I can do a lot: Skilled, rehab, quads, tub feedings ,ranger of motion , I can use both the hover and seat to stand lifts. In the beginning I wanted to go to the navy and then become a Marine biologist but I am flat footed and that stopped that and everyone in my family on my mom side is in nursing. Different levels and titles. So I gave it a shot and found I love it. They call me a lifer cuz I've been doing it for 29 years, but I enjoy it, I feel like I'm hangin with friends. The stories they tell are sad, happy, amazing...

Hello, I consider myself to be passive/aggressive in relation to providing care to patients and residents in need, I decided to become a caregiver because I consider it a great blessing to care for others who cannot care for themselves. When I was a little girl, sick in the hospital, I felt very comforted by the nurses and staff that not only gave me medicine but revealed to me compassion. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the reward of seeing someone comforted, cared for and safe because I was present and could provide the opportunity and skills to do so for them, to which they were very grateful for. I'm very happy to have experienced 22 years of caregiving in both home and hospital settings in every department of nursing, too also include hospice and respite care.

Let me start off by telling you that this is more then a job for me. This is my passion, I love what I do. I'm from Oklahoma and while I was a CNA for 20 years in nursing homes. I've lived here in Oregon for 8 years and I've been doing Agency in private caregiving. I'm going to be doing this kind of work until my bodyno longer allows me. I never advanced to LPN or RN because I wanted to be hands on and will both of those titles puts you in paper work. Note: I'm not firm on my hourly rate.

I have been a licensed nurse for the past 13 years. I am currently licensed in WI and I am working on getting my license here in Oregon. Unfortunately this is going to take a little bit longer than I was hoping it would. I have not worked as a nurse since 2014. I took some time off to work with my husband as a over the road truck driver. I am longing to get back into nursing. I am a kind, loving and caring person. I have always worked geriatrics and miss working with the elderly.

Hello, my name is Cherokee I'm 25 years old and love my job. I got my start under my mothers company at 15 as a house keeper for the elderly. One of my favorite things about the cleaning job was getting to meet seniors in my community, because I love all the story's and history they have to share. When I graduated from Cottage Grove High I had a plain to get into heath care, so that's what I did. Not just for seniors but also people with disability's, and I will tell you what I love what I do, and do what I love. I'm good at my job and don't believe in doing anything half way.
