My name is Jeseica, I became a personal caregiver when my great grandmother ended up fighting the the battle with cancer. I started taking care of her from 2012 until 2014 when she lost the battle and passed. Then my grandmother ended up taking a turn for the worse, and I took care of her from 2014 until 2016 when she passed away. I'm a very loving, and caring person. I take pride in my job, and love caring for people! I have years of experience with taking care of the elder. I take care of my great grandfather off and on now. Help him with the things he can't do. I am currently a student in the nursing program at BC3. I am reliable, have my own transportation, and am qualified to give the care that you are looking for. I am CPR/BLS certified, and have also taken courses for feeding and basic activities of daily living. I would be able to do an overnight shift of the weekends, as well as evening shifts throughout the week.

I have desired to help others for a very long time. I plan on attending Clarion University for Nursing in the near future.

I became a caregiver because I love to take care of other people. The best feeling in the world is knowing that you made a difference in someone's life. I enjoy a smile on someone face knowing that I was able to make their day even 1% better.

I am a very patient and understanding person and quickly aclimate to people's personal comforts. From working in rest homes to people's own homes I love making them as comfortable and happy as I can.

I think patience and compassion are essential traits needed for working this type of job. This is a job that might have some challenging situations along the way, and a good attitude goes a long way. Ive always had a giving personality and I like helping people. My grandmother had raised my brother and I since we were toddlers. As Ive gotten older and she has as well, Ive been giving back and helping her along the way. I would say that really kickstarted my compassion and empathy for the elderly. In my opinion, this is one of the most rewarding jobs one can have. Just knowing you are helping someone who cant help themselves, and seeing how grateful they are for it, makes it all worth it.
