I have worked with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I have always made sure I am worth what I make. I became a caregiver about 20+ years ago after raising my family. My brother was born with a disability and I seen how gentle and loving my mother was with him. I have a positive impact on my client I smile a lot I'm open to communicate with my client, listened to there concern encouraged them making decisions if the can and to involve them in there care plan.i give ADL care, good hygiene,,cooked, do laundry, serve there meal but if client needs assistance with feeding I will do it. I do client shopping, take client out for recreation, make drs' appointment and take them to there appointment, medications remainder,or administered medications, reports any concerns to family member who is POA.It rewarding when you see your client condition is improving.Care giver job is rewording when you bond with your client and the built trust in you.

One of my personality traits is when someone has compassion for another they have an understanding of what the person is going through. Some other personality traits that help me be a great caregiver are Trustworthiness, patience, and dependability. I love helping people. I've always had a soft spot for seniors and wanted to make a difference in their lives. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I take pride in my attention to detail. One of my greatest achievements is doing a 15 week nursing contract away from my family a lot.

I have been doing in-home care for 8 years. I love it. I love being able to help the elderly and allowing them to trust me in assisting them with daily living. I started as a CNA info 1994 working in a nursing home and the hospital. I went into this profession because i want to take care of people that can not take care of themselves and their families are unable to. I am very compassionate about the work that I do.
