Things that makes me a great care giver is putting someone else's interest ahead of my own. We must love our neighbors as we love our self. So the love that I have for humans is deep rooted. Which makes me want to willingly help more. What brought me closer to wanting to be a care giver is the challenges that I know some elderly people have or people who needed that extra assistance may have issues and sometimes nothing can help suppress that satisfaction but the satisfaction have to be following the rules and making sure that the patient is well taking care of. What I enjoy most about care giving is seeing the smiles on the clients and or patients faces when goals have been accomplished that lets me know that they see what I'm doing, they appreciate it and they want an encore because of the services they've received . A personal achievement that I am proud of is being a dedicated servant of god. That is a marvelous blessing to me.

I am patient and loyal. I have a background in nursing and worked in various specialties in the nursing field. I served as the primary caregiver for my mother from 2001 until her death in 2017. She had severe dementia with psychotic episodes, and require constant supervision. She was bedfast for the last year of her life, and required intensive nursing care.

I am a loving and caring person and I love helping others. I love my job and what it allows me to do for others. I have been on the receiving end of having a loved one get very sick and bounce back and forth from nursing home to hospital so I know all too well not just the physical but the emotional strain that situations like these can have for people and family's. This is why I try my best to help the best I can in any situation. I choose to get into this line of work because unfortunately I had to see first hand with a loved one that not everyone is properly taken care of or even cared about in these situations and that is just awful and unfair. When my loved one passed away I vowed to make a difference, even if its just one person or a small few its better then none or just doing nothing.

I have over 20 years experience,I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. I enjoy being a care giver because Meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves is so rewarding to me . I am extremely proud of how much strength I have & to me life is a gift that should never be taken lightly. I believe that each of us goes through a journey in life to learn lessons. Once those lessons are learned, which will take many different lifetimes, one would move onto the next level of living. I believe that the reason I am here, the reason that people exist, is to give and receive Devine love. I have set many goals for myself that reflect why I am here and the reason I care for others . As far as myself I am very easy to get along with & am a giver & have so much love & compassion for home care & enjoy every aspects of it ! (2) Why did I become a caregiver: When i was in my early twenties I had got a job in activities in a Nursing Facility and realized this was my passion. Then became a Cna/ Gna. I enjoy caring for others. (3) What do I like about being a caregiver: I like being a caregiver because it makes me feel good to know that I'm having a positive impact caring for someone .

I am the bubbly personality that loves to interact with whoever I provide services for. I do not play in my cell phone. I have been a CNA for almost 16 years and I am slowly on my way to achieving my associates for RN. I have two adorable dogs and I am fostering another puppy at the moment. I love animals and gardening. I do not have children. My transportation is reliable. I love to care for people, as the reward is in itself. The feeling you get knowing you made a difference in someone's life is priceless. I wear my heart on my sleeve! Most experience is with Autism, Cerebral Palsey, Alzheimer's and Dementia, as well as Multiple Sclerosis. I have ventilation experience and GI feedings. Experienced with medication administration.
