Being a caregiver you have to be patient and love people. I love what I do. Meeting new families and being trusted with the care of their family member shows the public and community what kind of person you are to give them such great service for their family member.

I'm a loving caring person I love to laugh and make everyone laugh and feel comfortable. I love caring for people my grandparents were sick and growing up we had to take care of them and I just want to be able to help and take care of other people that need help.. I enjoy just seeing my clients and making them laugh and just be there for them. One personal achievement in my life that I'm proud of is me never giving up when life did get hard for me!!

I have 18 years of experience working in the health care field. I've worked in hospitals, assisted livings and in client's homes. I love assisted people and trying my best to make them feel great in difficult times.

What drives me to this kind of work , is the joy it brings to their life.. I'm very caring , I listen, I'll go above and beyond for my clients. My females get there hair and nails done me.. I try and make sure they don't feel trapped inside all the time .

I Octavia Snow become a caregiver because I enjoy working with the seniors providing care and companionship. The things I like about being a caregiver is that I learn different backgrounds, love hearing their stories and they can teach you different things by just being a great listener. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is that the seniors brings joy to my heart. I'm a mother of 1 son.

I am Jodi Segars, 29 years old and just moved to Florence, SC in February. I have been working with the elderly for 9 years now. My whole family including my mother, aunt, sister, and sister in law all work in the healthcare field. I feel that honesty, trust, patience, caring are all personality traits it takes to be a great caregiver. Growing up I was always with my grandparents, always wanting to help my mom take care of others. I put others before myself. The most I enjoy about being a caregiver is the one on one time I get to spend with the client, get to know them, their likes and dislikes, try to let them be independent as possible. At the end of the day, knowing that I have helped someone in every way I can and cared for them and did my best I can gets me through each and everyday. I feel accomplished to provide care for anyone that needs it, and I do it with my utmost respect.

I am a caring person who gives my all to my clients. I really enjoy caring for people and making a difference in their lives. I enjoy interacting with my clients, like reading , conversation, games when appropriate and taking them for walks when possible. Personal achievements for me are seeing a smile or getting a hug from my clients when I arrive to take care of them. It makes me feel good to know that my clients enjoy seeing me to care for them.

I've worked in home health for 8 years and one thing I've found is you have to get down to their level as far as personality. My grandmother was a CNA in the hospital and ive always said I want to be a nurse. Seeing a smile on my patient's face or alook that that feel better but can't say it or the feeling of going home after work km knowing you helped somebody is all the enj ok payment in the world. My personal achievement is becoming a CNA and working in the hospital I really learned a lot in the hispital.

I originally started taking care of family members then I made my way over to home health companies. I've been in the field officially for over a year, taking care of those who need the help is something I'm very passionate about. I've done just about everything from adults to children!
