I've been a CNA & ERtech for 20+ years from hospitals, home-care,hospice to schools,no job is too small or large if there's a need I can fill or fit into. My mother was an RN that owned a large senior day care that I grew up in, in her twilight years I became her caregiver so I've been on both sides of the 'caregiver' role, I know how hard it is to find a good match and how important dependability, honesty and a compassionate heart is. I've remained in this role all these years because I genuinely love history and people to me are the ultimate living walking history especially seniors. I've won many awards but I'm most proud when I'm able to bring comfort or a smile to someone. I became a caregivers when my grandmother became ill. Seeing progress, seeing faces light up when I walk in thee room, listening to past stories, their past, being able to help keep clients in there home and as much as possible independent. When you meet a client who just wants to give up and that perfect fit cna-comes along and gives that client hope and purpose to keep going. I genuinely care about my clients. In addition to doing my job in a professional manner, I treat all of my clients with kindness, respect, and dignity. As a teen, I helped my mother care for my grandmother and always enjoyed spending time with her. My own mother is a dementia patient with diabetes and I am involved in her care as well. I truly enjoy working with seniors assisting them with independence and a better quality of life.
