Growing up as a kid I saw a lot of death and sickness in my family. My grandmother took care of everyone in the family. So seeing her be strong and holding the family together during tough times made me compassionate on helping others. I became a caregiver, when my mother became very ill. I decieded to stop working with my employer to take of my mother. I new everything about her and her needs. I new what it takes to care for her and I could spend all the time in the world with her. My mother was very important to me and my siblings and I couldn't trust anyone at the time of her sickness. I thought it would be hard and tiresome but it wasn't. We became more closer. She shared a lot of important things with me that I never knew about. I was glad to able to be in good health to take care of my mother who is so important to me and my siblings. I'm a proud daughter to know I was able to be there when she needed me and I was a shoulder she could lean on and a ear to listen to all the things she wanted to say, my mother was the best thing that ever happen to me. She was always there when we needed her. She cried when we cried, she hurt when we hurt, she was my only best friend and now she past away I truly miss her. I wish I can turn back the hands of time just to spend a little more time with her. She taught me everything I needed to know about life and how to appreciate the things we go through. She was the best of all mothers.
