I genuinely love being able to take care of people and especially the elderly. By showing both empathy and compassion, a caregiver will let the person know that they care about them. For instance, they will try and do what they can to help - not because they have to, but because they want to.

As the CD's played soft music of old hymns and after praying and reading scripture to her for several days; I experienced her smile and hand on my cheek, just before the angels escorted her from this world into Glory.
