After many years of working in a Hospital Business Office by day and caring for a family member at night, I decided to become a Caregiver to others. I know first hand what it is like to need assistance with the care of a loved one and realizing that you can't be there 24 hrs a day. The uncertainty of trusting someone else to do it for you can cause anxiety. I become a caregiver of my Mother-in-law for 6years, I realize I enjoy taking care of the elderly so I decided to do it and accept the offer of a friend to take care of her Mother-in-law and Father-in-law. Greetings, I've discovered that regardless of someones health condition or disability everyone deserves to have a good quality life and to be happy, thats way I became a "Compassionate Caregiver" it is so important to provide compassionate care to thoughes that need caring for. One of my good friends was in a car accident that left him as a Quadriplegic, now being such a young man, he became very depress with life and I had a problem with that so I decided to learn how to care for him and I did just that. I started by being Trained by the Healthcare facility free of charge were he lived. I started class room and hands on training for eight weeks and I had taken a CPR course. I did this so my friend could have a quality life. I also taken a course on how to transfer Quadriplegic patients so that I could transfer him the correct way from his wheel chair to my car and from the car to his wheelchair and back into the facility were he was living, that alowed us to go places, Dr appointments and places he liked going to. Then he stoprd looking at his self deficiencies but instead, he started loving life once again and loving people and we made the best of things. So he begin enjoying are times together once again just like old times and thats how I became a Home Healthcare Provider.

I have a great personality, I'm funny, nice to be around and very patient. I've cared for my children and my mother in law and I love to help people. Knowing that someone need help and I can help them warms my heart. The best thing that I did for myself was to get CNA license and get out of the retail business, we're I wasn't happy at.
