I become a caregiver of my Mother-in-law for 6years, I realize I enjoy taking care of the elderly so I decided to do it and accept the offer of a friend to take care of her Mother-in-law and Father-in-law. I consider myself blessed to have a connection with the elderly. When I was a 14 yrs old had the most amazing bond with the 93 year old mother of our church and I will never forget her. I personally feel responsible for the helpless ; I didn't know I needed a reason why. However, I have realized it's not for everyone. I take pride in the connection and the ability to bond with a person in need of understanding and compassion. I now consider it a gift and I am humbly grateful.

I've been a certified caregiver since 2013. I decided to pursue a career in this field due to the fact that I cared for my grandfather. I'm passionate about what I do. As child, I grew up in a house hold with my elders. We took care of them and even though it was required of me, I always enjoyed it as my way of saying thank you.
