Hello! My name is Shanyah (Shania) . I love to stay active & live in the moment. I thoroughly enjoy being a caregiver because it fills me with grace and gratitude when others appreciate what I do for them - for me, It really is the little things that means the most. Personally, taking steps outside of my comfort zone is something I'm extremely proud, I feel like I've climbed &passed goals I thought I could only dream of. I became a caregiver in 2011 I am CPR certified,I have my Nurse Delegation,Dementia &Alzheimer's, Developmental Disabilities speciality training,Mental Health ,Insulin Delegation i have all my certificates of competition. It is my passion to take care of others it has always been my dream job since I was little I wanted to become a nurse, I enjoy working with the clients of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds and have a demonstrated ability to develop great relationship with them and their families. Moreover, I am trustworthy and responsible person who takes great pleasure in all kinds of caregiving tasks. Besides, I am dedicated to work hard and always accept challenges to produce winning outcomes. Over and above, I am an active team player who is able to work effectively with managers and co-workers. I have been in many setting witch includes an adult family home where I cooked,cleaned,bathed,and did medication administrations along with patient adls with 6 residents to myself for 12 hours a day. Ive also worked at rehabilitation facilities,assisted living as a med tech. My favorite thing about what i do is knowing that i play a special part in someone's life who can no longer take of themselves and i get the privilege to do so and having the trust of it being all in my hands. Im very proud of myself for sticking with being a caregiver and getting all the diffrent trainings i have and experience i have gotten from it.

I am a caring, loving individual that loved my job & took it very serious & personal. I helped both husband & wife to get back to themselves when they got a cold or was just having a bad day. Out of the 8 & half years I worked their I only missed a total of 5days had to be very dependable it was only 1 other lady who worked there different shift relieved me to go home & I relieved her to go home until the granddaughter came to help us out. I don't have any kids I am available anytime, I would love to be a caregiver again I believe it's my calling just haven't had another opportunity to do so. I even worked on most holidays unless I scheduled to be off to be with family. I just moved to Washington almost two weeks ago am currently at Foster Farms until I can get another caregiver opportunity if I am given a chance I would like to put in two wks notice thank you for letting me share part of my life.

When my mother was passing from cancer, I watched her care team take such great care of her. I was deeply touched by that kindness and I realized that is what I wanted to do. I wanted to go to work and help people to feel safe, comfortable, and to help brighten their day. I have loved every minute of my career thus far, even the rough days. It is where my heart truly is.

I worked as a private duty nurse, caring for adults and children. My previous patient for 5 years and 6 months was a geriatric case , patient with DM insulin dependent , hypertension and heart problem . I like to render services to people , was able to volunteer some community outreach program. I'm a BSN graduate and a Registered Nurse in the Philippines. RN of California and Washington .

Well I've always had a caring nature about me and am a very hardworking and dedicated person, i have always wanted to help anyone i had came across that was sick and needed care. A little backstory for u is when i got my nursing degree so i could start helping my father with his everyday needs as well as helping him get around the house as he was in great deal of pain and would loose breath trying to just roll over. So i took a course in college nursing 090, and by the end of the class i had learned how to transfer him with out a great deal of pain! It made my days well worth every moment, and although he unfortunately did not make it to see me graduate, he sadly passed five short months before i graduated with a 3.8 gpa from LCC here in longview. So i then went on to caring for others in they're homes and absolutely loved becoming apart of many new familys along the way, making all of my clients feel comfortable, loved, important and always giving them a sense of security knowing that i would be there everyday for them and their daily needs that were not bieng or able to be fully met. One thing u should know about me is no matter what i have always enjoyed helping others, which is why i feel i would be a great candidate for you and for your in-home care needs to be met. I first learned that I enjoyed helping people when I was 13 years old and started volunteering, then got hired in a recreational program for people with developmental disabilities. I am funny, compassionate, kind, patient and a great listener, whether it is verbal communication or body language. I love my God given talent for working for and assisting others to be the best they can be. I am proud of my ability to take a new situation in caregiving and figure it out.

I have been a caregiver for almost 20 years now I have worked in multiple places like nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living, in home settings, and even worked for a nursing agency where I traveled around and work two different facilities I even got to work in the prison for a short time. I am compassionate and try to take my time with everybody that I take care of I think of them as family. I have been told that I go above and beyond to make sure that my clients are safe happy and having a good day no matter the case. the thing I enjoy most about being caregiver is the fact that I get to help somebody, make their day brighter, and just give them companionship when sometimes they don't have it. I am about to finish my prerequisites to get into the nursing program I want to eventually get my BSN and be an advocate for both the clients and the workers to make sure everyone is safe they have what they need to do their job appropriately and to be taken care of it accordingly.

I have been a CNA for over 20 years. I have worked in every kind of field hospital hospice In-Home Care adult family homes nursing homes and I cared for my grandfather. I love working with elderly I treat them as if they were my grandparents I'm compassionate and caring I love cleaning organizing and I lost both my grandparents so it's nice to be around people that are like my grandparents cuz I miss that. I'm a single mom a three boys but they're all grown so I have a open schedule I can work any schedule anytime anyday and I'm just interested in finding a good client that I can be with for a long time.
