The reason I love caregiving so much because I was inspired by grandparents before they passed and took care of them and realized they didn't get much company and I wanted to be soemoje they trusted and relied to be there for their needs and emotionally support

I'm very much a people person & highly empathetic. I knew I wanted to be a caretaker/Nurse since high school working as a volunteer in local hospital. I come from a family of caretakers so it's in my genetics. I've done many aspects of caregiving from rooming patients in local clinic to skilled unit in nursing facility & Alzheimer's unit. I love geriatric care due to the respect I have for the elderly. They've earned it for surviving through hardships I've only read about & learned in history class, which brings me to the fact that they have the best stories to tell if able to. I take pride in my care & the bigger the challenge it is with not so happy clients/patients I manage to get them to open up a bit & do my best to turn there frown upside down raising there spirits up. I welcome new challenges & learning about something new especially if it helps my care towards my patient. Dementia/Alzheimer's care is my specialty.

I am a very bubbly, friendly person. I have 4 kids myself a 7 and 4 year old and two 3 month olds. I want to be give back and help those who have done the same for us. I lost my grandpa to stage 4 cancer 3 years ago and to watch him barely have anyone there made me feel like he was dying alone in hospice. I don't want people to feel that way. Connecting with people making sure they don't feel alone if family doesn't see them every day or if any days at all. I am finishing my ged I am only 2 tests away from finishing it. I did it for my family. But I mainly did it for myself to be able to go back to school and learn more than I already know now

I've been a home health aid DSP for over 10 years. What got me started in this field is growing up. My mom was blind so I've always been taken care of somebody after high school. I figured I might as well stick with what I am good at and that's taking care of others. I have experience working with Alzheimer's dementia seniors on hospice mental health behavior physical disabilities I've done lifts grooming personal cares. Everything you name it. It means the world to me to come in to these people's lives cause sometimes we are the only people that our clients see so to come in and make a positive impact on your life and give you the parent support that you deserve means the world to me. I love doing this type of work and it means the world to me to change somebody's life.

I love being a caregiver because our elders need our help because they can't do it on their own anymore. Seeing how happy they are when your helping them and taking care of them is the best thing to see on peoples faces is that smile seeing they are happy and enjoying them selves. I really didn't have attracted part of becoming a caregiver but once a few people told me to try it I have just loved doing it the last few years I have done it.

I bring a bright positive attitude with me where ever I go. I'm caring and compassionate with a weak spot for elderly & children. I love helping people and its my main goal daily to bring some sort of positivity to someones life. I have a passion for Care giving and I've been care giving since I was 16 years old. I completed my CNA training in high school because my grandma was diagnosed with dementia & Alzheimer's and I wanted to know more of what she was facing and I found myself completely in love with Caring for others. I call it my second nature. I am married to the love of my life and we share an amazing daughter together and I have recently enrolled in classes to get a degree in Medical Administration.
