I'm a Cna ,I've always wanted to work in the healthcare field that's why I became an Cna, I love working in a nursing home it gave me a chance to help people that needed me the most I live being able to provide care for people that needs it I wouldn't want to do any other type of work I love helping people weather it be in their home or a nursing home..

I became a CNA so that I could take care of my Grandmother. It has became my calling and my passion. I absolutely love helping someone who came into my care in a wheelchair, and the walk out on a cane. I love working in a skilled nursing environment. The people that I have met are amazing in their own ways.

I am a LPN of 4 years with experience in multiple backgrounds. Last job was as a Rehabilitation nurse where I aided Residents in doing everything they could for themselves. Have experience with dementia/ Alzheimer's patients as well as mentally ill patients.

Caregivers are all around us. But that doesn't mean they are all great caregivers. When it comes down to what separates the caregivers from the great caregivers there are some marked traits and work habits that stand out. Those who have experienced a great caregiver could make a list of what makes them great and sets them apart from the crowd. Working with people in a home care setting, it is essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion, I will let the person they are caring for know that they care about the person and want to do what they can to help them. When you work with someone who needs home care it is important that you are patient and understanding. It helps to sometimes put yourself in the other person's shoes and see what it might be like to ask people for help. A great caregiver is someone that can be counted on to be there. Most people who need home care services are in a vulnerable position. They are inviting someone into their home to be near their valuables. A good caregiver is someone who is trustworthy in this regard, as well as in being trusted to keep the client's information confidential.

I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse for the past 20 years, but have been in the health care field for the past 23 years. I am a very hard working, caring, honest and loving person who became a care giver because I love helping people in need of care.

I am a great caregiver because I believe in what I do. I love getting to know people and helping people. The reason I became a caregiver is because of my grandmother. I enjoy talking to my clients and I enjoy making them smile and making them enjoying the day. I am proud of my family and I am proud of myself for believing in what I do and making what I do and believe in happen.
