I became a caregiver after being laid off at the hospital where I worked as unit secretary, nursing assistant and er tech for eight years. I love working with the elderly because its a job That is satisfying because you are helping someone live a better quality of life. I am proud of the job I did while working and the hospital and the great experience I got caring for the elderly. I love listening to their stories about their lives. I am 58 yrs old, divorced with one daughter who is a nicu nurse. I also have two granddaughters. I did office work and also worked in retail before I went to work at the hospital. I learned so much and really enjoyed the work more than any previous job. I have been doin private duty work since 2013
