Having spent decades of my life caring for my elderly patients and I love every minute of it, Such an honor for me ! Being a trusted caregiver for many years with patients from all walks of life in various stages in life; sometimes with physical/mental decline I offer care that you can trust. I have great compassion for others in some of the most vulnerable times of their lives when sometimes other family members cannot due to their own family and lives. I give those families comfort in knowing that I will do a good job taking care of their most precious loved ones. It was in nursing school that I knew being a caregiver to the elderly was my passion. I love that I can make individuals feel loved even though I'm not actual family but in time I do feel like family as they have become like family to me. I know that when I give attention to my patients that they are receiving the BEST care that I can humanly give them, I know without a doubt that I'm doing what is most comforting and safe for them. I am Reliable, Dependable, Honest, Work with Integrity, Compassionate, Always willing to work with schedule changes, and my word is my promise. It make me feel good to know that I can take a load off of family members while relieving stress and pressure because we know that caring for a family member is exhausting, I've been there and know. I take no shortcuts in the care of my patients always treating others as I would like to be treated and for me that's as if they were my family.

I offer 25 years of experience and a very broad knowledge in total dependent care to minimal assisted care in all ages, with the majority of my past experience in the Gerontology field. Care for my patients includes, but is not limited to: 1. Engaging patient by listening, reading, and talking to them while providing social and emotional support and companionship. 2. Administering medications including injections, medication reminders. 3. Patient feeding, including meal preparations. 4. Any and all types of assistance, total transfers/ambulation (including use of wheelchairs, walker, BSC, etc.). 5. Assistance with daily exercising, range-of-motion exercises, walking, etc. 6. Assisting with all daily activities, personal hygiene, dressing, oral hygiene and grooming needs as well as bathing/showering. 7. Assistance with all doctor appointments, therapy appointments, errands-grocery shopping, lunch and dinner outings, etc. 8. Assistance with housekeeping/homemaker duties (i.e. dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, prep/clean up, and laundry. 9. Experience with Hospice patients and working in Hospice settings. I am very flexible with my schedule. My pay is negotiable and I can offer both personal and professional references. I welcome any background check you may wish to conduct on me, as I want you to be completely comfortable with me as your caregiver.
