About Cheryl

I am a wife, mother of 2 amazing boys, and a nurse. I now stay home with my youngest son because my oldest son is away at college and my husband works crazy hours. I absolutely love taking care of people. It is my passion and what God put me on this earth for. I don't want to work all the crazy RN hours right now, I want to be able to be with my son as much as I can! If you are looking for a compassionate, trustworthy caregiver you need to look no further! I have so much experience with elderly patients. I have had multiple stroke patients, low or no mobility, dementia, diabetes, and the list goes on. I am cpr certified as well. I treat my patients like I would my own family. I come with references and it would be an honor to help with your loved one and take some of the pressure off of you! I hope to hear from you very soon

I have been a caregiver since I was 17 years old! My love for helping the elderly started when as a child my grandmother had dementia. I have cared for amazing people in my 33 years as a caregiver! I've gotten the best advice and life lessons from my clients! Each one holds a special place in my heart! I was born and raised in Greenville Ga and lived my married life in Madison Ga. I moved to Nashville after my husband passed away in 2018. My soul purpose on this earth is to be a caregiver! I have always known that!

As a chiropractor for 20+ years, I have a wealth of knowledge caring for patients with multiple physical, psychological and mental conditions. I was born with a nurturing heart, and it has always been my purpose to serve others whether human or animal. My warm and loving bedside manner makes my patients feel comfortable and safe. Many of them are still in my life after many years, and I consider them family. My passion for being a caregiver began recently. My Mother went blind after a rare virus attacked her optic nerves. She went from being an active, independent and strong woman to feeling sad and helpless overnight. I have recently left my practice in Tennessee to take care of her, and fly back and forth to Florida 3 days a week. In the past few years I have thought about leaving the field of Chiropractic, which has taken a toll on me physically. Caring for my Mom sparked a new passion in me. I found being a caretaker gave me a new found purpose. I am naturally a multitasker and extremely organized. Being someone else's eyes takes a lot of patience and juggling many things at the same time. I thrive in this type of environment. Watching the progress my Mother has made in the last few weeks has been extremely rewarding. Finding the things that bring her joy in this new life is my favorite part of being her caregiver. I realized I want to do this for other people who need me. In the next year I will attend University of Massachusetts to receive a masters degree in education as a certified vision specialist. One of my personal achievements is adopting and raising abused and neglected dogs. Watching them go from scared and abused to happy, fun and confident brings me so much joy!
