I am an experienced CNA with a passion for what I do. I've worked with the intellectually disabled, veterans and loved ones in a long term setting..The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is meeting new people and hearing all the wonderful stories about their lives and seeing all the old photos of how things used to be. I believe I've had a talent for loving people from a young age and knowing that I brought a little joy to their day always made me feel elated .

A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. <Matthew 7:18> I am a good tree bearing good fruit by living a life based on (HOW?) Honesty, Open-mindedness, and Willingness. My core is built on a foundation of integrity and kindness. Communication and people advocating is my best traits. Ii have always been a caregiver by watching my Mom use her skill as an X-Ray technician to help her friends and family after working her hospital shift. She has always lead by doing without recognition. Helping others is a privilege not a burden. Later in life, I was referred to be a caretaker for Ms. Martha who really empowered me to serve and understand where the client is coming from. She was in a wheelchair and my role was to get her ready for the day while learning how she wanted to be served. By the end of our journey together, I was the receiver of her principles of love and integrity to others. She was the gift. My personal achievement: I am proud of myself for raising 1 daughter and two sons. They too are considerate of others by lending a hand and being respectful to everyone no matter if you are raised differently. They embrace different cultures and are excited to learn more about people's stories. Eye contact and speaking clearly demonstrates their sincere appreciation for the skill of communicating. Today, I learn from them about how to have courage to try something new and grow through it. Being uncomfortable is a good thing.
