Hey! My name is Makayla. I am 24 and currently reside in Kingsport, TN. I have been a caregiver for about a year. But I had been volunteering at my local nursing home and helping the CNA's for about 4 years. I wanted to become a caregiver since I was a teenager. Ive always loves taking care of people. The main reason I became a caregiver is because I saw the difference it made in my grandfathers life when he had dementia. The caregivers who came into our homes made a huge difference and were such a blessing. Which I hope is how families feel when I am taking care of thier loved ones. I personally think I make a great caregiver because I am a very loving, empathetic, sympathetic, caring and trust worthy. I treat my clients how I would want my family treated if the roles were reversed.
