I am retired, this year, from my 60 hour per week job. I am not use to sitting home and would love to share my time with other individuals. I love to talk, with anyone. I have had 60 minute conversations with the wrong number. I am a dedicated individual whereas I believe I would make an idea care giver. I love knowing I have made someone enjoy what might have been a very lonely or boring day. I laugh a lot with a great sense of humor. My husband and I have been married 40 years and I sincerely believe our sense of humor is what made us the happy couple we are today. My mother was in a nursing home with Parkinson's because she refused to live with any of her daughters. I spent evenings and weekends visiting her when I wasn't out of town. Decorated her room for each holiday and would take her outside for a basket lunch. Once she passed I adopted a little senior lady who had no family. Her Christmas was much merrier cause someone took the time to shower her with gifts and conversation. I have always had a desire to work with seniors and somehow make their life a little brighter. Since I am a senior myself I feel like I understand what is needed and would love to be given the chance to show you.
