I enjoy being a caregiver. I've been a CNA for three years and I love it. Every since I was a child I enjoyed helping people. My heart always has been big. In order to be a caregiver I believe you must have patience and a heart along with enjoying and being proud of what you do. Before I became a CNA I worked in customer service for eight years and enjoyed that job as well, then my mom took ill. Then I decided to go back to school to learn how to care for her properly, if need be. Under my care my mom got better gradually. After that I decided to make caregiving a career. Knowing that I played a part in helping someone accomplish a task or just making them smile for that day is priceless.
