I've always had excellent people skills. I really enjoy helping others, it gives me a feeling of accomplishment to see someone get the help they need. I'm compassionate, understanding, easy going, and number one patient with people. I believe you should treat people the way you would treat your own parents, or family. I enjoy dealing with families of the clients, most of them are very happy that your there for their loved one. Enjoying hearing about their past, how they grew up, things that they did in there life is so interesting to me. My grand mother would tell me stories about as she said "Days gone bye" that were so interesting to me things that we just take for granite now. I enjoy everything about homecare. Finding it much more personable then a nursing facility, plus the family member is in his or her surroundings. A personal achievement that I have made would be when I came back home to help my mother with my father who had dementia. We worked with him everyday with dressing, eating, taking medication, exercising and other responsibilities, but that's part of life. My father passed away September eighteenth of this year. It was a privilege to be with him to the very end. I hope I answered some of your questions and hope to be hearing from you soon.
