I'm very good at caring for others and have always wanted to be a nurse. The appreciation from clients and the feeling of knowing that you are helping people transition from one situation to the other for me is priceless. My first client was given a couple of weeks to live by her Dr. When I took over her care, she lived three more years. I love what I do because it has taught and helped me to be a better person. I am raising two beautiful children and very proud of what I do everyday.
I enjoy working with older people, because they appreciate the help and companion ship. what attracted me to being a care giver is the fact you can make their life easier for them. Being able to help someone who less fortunate as I and listening to some of the stories they like to tell. When I was caring for a Dr. he never left his chair because he felt safe there, Iwas able to convince him to use his walker, because I was right beside him. One day I visited him he was standing using his walker
Caring for seniors is a passion of mine and has been for many years. My biggest achievement is attending nursing school at age 47 after being an executive secretary for years. My philosophy is to treat people as if they were your own family. Even though I am a retired RN, I miss assisting with activities of daily living while keeping a client's independence and dignity in tact. My favorite work was in Home Health for the last 15 years. It is so much better being in a client's home to determine what help is really needed and wanted. I am a happy, caring person and am anxious to help where I am needed.
I am a very caring, energetic, person! I very much enjoy working with the geriatric population. I am a northener, that just moved here to Florida to be with my father, and so far I am LOVING it! I am a hard worker, can be quite a talker, and am always on the go! I have no children, and I am always looking for something to fill my time. Why not do something in the area that I love?! I am a middle child, an animal lover, and all around people person loving person!

What attracted me to be a caregiver is helping others in need itsy Passion I as a caregiver enjoy my job the most us the people I work with and there families. My achievement is getting my hha,my phlebotomy and continuing my medical assistant and going forward for my RN.
I have a great compassion for the sick and elderly. I believe that if I provide care and compassion if need be when my time comes God will also make away for me. I am sewing seed in the Kingdom of heaven. Why did I become a caregiver? I am called and choosen by God. Mentally, emotionally and phycially it can be hard work but very rewarding.I like being able to provide love and care and companion ship with a since of peace. My greastest and personal achievement in life me being able to take care of my step father while he was sick and up till the day he passed away. My story I was raised by a step parent but I could never tell he was my step father he always treated me good kind and loved me even when I was wrong but let me knew when I was wrong and tried to show me a better way he was my Hero and still to this day he will always be. I was able to show the love by taking care of him while he was sick and able to be present as he took his last breath and prepare his body for the under taker that was the last thing I could have ever done but the greatest.
I am a retired RN with 30 years experience in ER, OR, ICU, Home Health and Hospice. I've chosen to become a caregiver because: 1. I no longer crave the excitement of nursing or the 8-12 hour shifts. 2. I miss the caregiving aspect of nursing, the comforting, the listening, the time to connect one on one. 3. My assessment skills are excellent. I am a patient instructor in regards to medication management/disease processes. 4. I understand family dynamics and relationship building during stressful situations. 5. I am open minded, non-judgmental, appreciative of all life styles. 6. I adore pets and believe that fur friends offer much in the way of unconditional love and support. 7. I enjoy people! I am an avid student of our "humanness".
I have 8 years of experience in providing care for the Elderly. I enjoy doing my job because I am able to utilize my knowledge and skills I have gained throughout the years of employment in the Healthcare field, and most of all I enjoy assisting others with their daily duties in order to carry on with their day. My Mom and I became care providers for my grandmother before she passed away in 2008 with Lung Cancer. Providing care for my Grandmother was the hardest thing to do because we knew that her time was coming to an end, but we still gave her our all. I will provide the same exact care your loved one as if he/she is my relative. I believe in giving back because I look at it as if it is me in their shoes, so therefore I give my all and do my best because that is the only right thing to do. Please feel free to ask any and every question you have because I also need the guardian comfortable too.
Caregiving isn't a job to me. It's something I love doing and it's my duty to give back to my community while helping those in need. I am compassionate towards others and I know how to satisfy and meet the demands of other people's needs. Being a daughter to a mother who needs help herself, has shown me just how tough it could be for others to take care of their loved ones while juggling work, kids, and other responsibilities. Caregiving is my foundation to jumping into the career of the medical field. Understanding what it takes to take care of someone in need will only then provide me with insight on how I'll be able to take care of others in my future medical profession.

Growing up my mother was a caregiver and I remember always thinking "how come she loves her job so much" I was always around d my mother's work and seen how much she loved what she done, once I graduated I went to school to be a nursing assistant myself brcause I also grew to love what I was around and I love and have amazing bonds with my patients and residents. What I enjoy most is just the joy they bring toy life, knowing I am helping a other person and making them happy is what I live for. A person achievement I'm proud of would definitely have to be getting employee of the month at Best care after only being there for 5 months.
