I decided to become a certified nursing assistant because I have the heart of helping others. I derive satisfaction in making some one better. For me it makes me feel that I have achieved a very big goal if I make a difference. Compassion makes me do the job of nursing assistant and willingness to learn even more. I enjoy learning from some of my patients, I realize that some of my patients did great thing in life for people. From teachers ,nurses, doctors, pilots and here they are in my hands. I cared for my "nana" for 12 years. She suffered from verbal dysplaxia, had several strokes, mild dementia and had three minor heart attacks. She also suffered from a broken hip, and was a constant fall risk. I was able to always know and feel what was needed by her, and performed whatever was necessary to make sure she was comfortable and felt loved. Before my nanas care and currently, I treat every client with the same level of loving care. I am very personable gay male. I keep a positive attitude, and I am a great listener with much attention to detail. I thrive off of seeing my clients/families and friends of clients experience an improvement in the well being of themselves or their loved ones. I am most proud of being very sought after in the caregiving business and also proud of having so many successful experiences by simply giving myself into the love and wellness for others.
