Hello families, I am a , CNA- Certified Nurse Assisted. I have been working in the medical and non medical fields of healthcare for 22 years. I specialize in homecare, but I have worked 1:1 with a broad range of clients and patients from ages 0-105 years old. I have worked with geriatric clients in different facilities like, ALF, ACF, ADLF, SNF and more. I obtained my CNA certificate in 1997 from a well known community college. I also attended my clinicals at a very well known hospital. I enjoy what I do and I will continue to provide care to the ones in need. As long as I can put a smile on my clients/patients face at the end of the day I'm happy when I have made them happy.

I have always wanted and have been a caregiver to whomever in my family that needed care since I was 16, I took care of both of my I'll parents until their passing. My heart is very much into my work. I am proud because being a caregiver has made me want to pursue my career to become a Registered Nurse

I have been in the healthcare industry for about 20 years now. The reason I entered the field was because my Mother and Stepdad took sick when I was about 12 and I became the care provider to them both. We did not have much money to have a around the clock nurse so the nurse we had taught me how to do many things. When my parents passed I became a CNA/GNA and I worked in a nursing home setting which I loved for about 7 years. I wanted more even to become a nurse so I left the nursing home setting and begin working in the hospital. I worked there for about 6 years when I had my son I left the hospital and tried a new venture. I entered into my current and most rewarding field, working with individual's who needed me most. Those who have Developmental Disabilities. I have been with my current job for 10. A personal goal of mines was to return to school something I have started and look forward to finishing not just for me but for my son and to give back to those I work with and support on a day to day basis.

I'm a strong , hard and hospitable worker, who is eager to assist other. My personality is happy, bubbly and very goal oriented. I will never for get the moment in year 2015, I received an hero award for the third quarter. I honestly didn't know why though. Then it was brought to my attention. I'm a compassionate, dependable, fun loving caregiver with over 20 years experience. At the young age of 20, I got my start in home care. I then received my CNA from St. Mary's Manor in Pa but obtained exceptional training and experience from The Hospital of the University of Pa, where I worked for over 13 years. Since leaving HUP, I decided to go back to where it all began, home care. I also love children and decided to be a nanny for a few years.
