Ive been a caregiver for about 10 years. 5 years certified. When I got started in this field it was out of necessity. My grandmother had a stroke and i had no choice. I didn't even want to be a caregiver. After about a year my grandmother passed away. But the feeling that i got from being able to care for her like she cared for me was indescribable. First time I felt i had contributed something; actually helped somebody. Like I made a difference, like i made her last days better. 10 years later I cant picture myself doing anything else. I love what I do. And everytime I help a client or they smile and say thank you its like helping my grandmother all over again.

I enjoy providing exceptional healthcare for the aged, mentally and physically disabled. My background began as a Medic in the United States Army. I transitioned and worked as a licensed Medic for numerous of years providing emergency medicine, basic life support, advanced life support, ambulatory care, geriatric care, dementia and Alzheimer's care, amongst others to say the least. I work at Northeast Georgia Medical Center for 12 years... I left my job to be a stay-at-home mom... Now that my children are getting older and are in school it's time for me to get back into the work field... I enjoy getting to know different people along with their backgrounds ethnicities and also their families... Making someone smile has always been a goal in my life... I know we are supposed to treat others how we should be treated but in my case to see someone smile is way more important then for me to smile because if I know if I'm doing good in this world and I can make a difference in someone's life that's God's plan for me...
