I am a caring, compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and kind caregiver. I was attracted to caregiving because I enjoy caring for others. I know that sounds very cliche, but it is very rewarding to meet the needs of my clients and put a smile on their face. I have done the home health side as a part time job for about 5 years now working with clients that need all different levels of assistants to help make the client life have the most quality we can. A great caregiver goes above and beyond unknowingly , its second nature for them to give it their best at everything, .....all the time......from their dress code to how they talk and the small stuff washing dishes and sweeping , its all done with respect and integrity. This is me and how I live every day ,it comes off easy when I work because its a learned way of living. Years ago I was working in a facility with 24 people to care for and I couldn't give the proper care , unable to stretch my self as far as the needs went so I made a decision to do it on my own, so I could work in the homes and give quality care 1 person at a time. The best part of assisting others is the joy of relief we bring to their lives, its more than a paycheck could ever offer, being able to comfort, gain trust, and to be apart of their day and adding a joke or a smile is an experience all should feel at some point in life. I'm proud to have stepped out of my comfort zone of the industry to work directly with people who need quality care, direct accountability so they can enjoy being home with dependable help........

I'm good at what I do because i'm an advocate for my patients,I pay attention to detail and I care about my patients well being.I like to engage them into conversations,exercise e.g walks if they are able to.I try to make their life as they know it as possible.I started working as a caregiver after working in summer camp for special needs,I realized then that I loved caring for people therefore I decided to be a C.N.A so I can better service my patient with knowledge.I have been privailed to work with patients for so many years and have outstanding references.I went back to school partly because I wanted to get more knowledge to better service my patients,finished my pre nursing classes part time while I continued to work but I had to put it on hold because I got married to my wonder husband and we were blessed with a beautiful daughter the greatest achievement of my life.This is a calling for me,I will always help people in what ever capacity i'm Needed.
