Hi im Shannon, I am very caring, friendly, enjoy meeting new people. I love working/helping the senior public, I learn alot from them they have lived through many years and they are experienced. My favorite is to hear when and how or where they grew up. Its a warm nice feeling. My Mom and Dad both passed from cancer so i have lots of experience from taking care of them. I learned how to clean my Moms trach which i feel is a big achievement for me I sure never thought i could ever do something like that, but it was for my Mom and for her to be able to come home so yes I did learn that and would of moved mountains if needed to be. I hope to be able to help anywhere I may be needed.

Being reliable, including arriving for work on time and fulfilling all duties in a timely Minnie, I respect all my clients and Iam a friendly person.I chose to become a giver because I love helping people who need help. I became a certified nurses assistant in 1987 through state of Indiana. I continued for 23 years. I wanted this type of job since junior high. I love this type of work to see smiles and make tasks easier for those who have a hard time. I too may be there soon. I have done hospice experience for a year and caregiver work around 6 years.

Hello! I am happy to express my love for caregiving, companionship, and specialized care. I started working as a caregiver/companion for my grandfather who needed extra help with ADL's and meal prep. I noticed immediately that I genuinely enjoyed it. I was told I had a knack for it and I knew it was my calling. I finished my CNA course late 2009 and began working early into 2011 as a Caregiver. Shortly thereafter I began working as a home health aide/CNA mainly in hospice care. I also began working with children and adults with Developmental disorders. I have a wide range of experience and I love what I do. I provide emotional and professional care for all my patients/residents. I value the position of being the one to assist and help people heal and thrive. I do not take for granted the trust that goes into this field of work and I value my position and relationships gained throughout my journey. And of course the relationships I will gain in the future.
