Personality traits: I try to put myself in the other person's shoes. I am a person of the highest integrity and dress in a professional manner. I know how to balance empathy and caring in such a way that as I care for the body, the mind and soul feels cared for as well giving a sense of comfort in knowing everything's going to be alright and they feel safe and secure. The thing that attracted me to being a care giver is, I like to "Help" people. I'm interested in the wisdom an elderly person has. I enjoy being a caregiver because helping others puts a smile on their face knowing they are safe and secure in my care at maybe their most vulnerable state. One personal achievement I am proud of is being excepted into the 2019 Strathmore's Worldwide Who's Who in my occupation as a Health Care provider. I have 15 years prior experience as a NA11. I've worked in agencies with Home Health and Hospice and in a skilled nursing facility. I have experience with every aspect that it takes to care for your loved one with over 20yrs. In all. The one thing that makes me a great care giver is I listen to their needs not my agenda and I love what I do.

I have over 20 years of experience. I love being there for people that need my help to have a better day for them selves. I enjoy being able to show people they can depend on someone other than family members. I'm proud that after 20 years of being in this field, I still wake up and go to work and it still feels like I'm visiting family and just helping them in there every day Life. It don't feel like work.

I've been a nurse for 12 years. I'm a 3rd generation nurse in my family. I hold a bachelor's degree. I love working with people most especial the elderly population. Working with parents and grand parents has improved my listening skills. I'm an okay cook but a great care giver.

I've always wanted to be a caregiver every since my dad was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and became disabled. Seeing him struggle with day to day activities motivated me. I love having that one on one connection with the people I care for. Knowing that they look forward to me coming just makes my day. I love having fun with them, watching movies, laughing and joking with them. When I left my precious job I missed the individuals so much that I made sure I called them every single day!! They also looked forward to that phone call!!

I love been a caregiver this is something I've been doing since 16 years old. I took care of my grandfather for 5 years, also my grandmother. After I started volunteering a local nursing homes just sitting with the residents, and how I instantly clicked with each resident I knew it was something I loved doing. I'm very proud to be able to give them all the care and love they need, and I enjoy building bonds with the residents and their family
