loving caring and patient these words describes me in three words, assisting someone should not be a burden although sometime our job can be challenging I mostly see further than my task ' what if the table was to turn and I was in that particular patient's place how would I want to be cared for? that is my model. Every case and challenges are different that keeps me going, last but not least what I have realize many of us have to remember dealing with people is never an easy task especially if they are sick, my achievement from my duty is the smile that I get every time patient/consumer and I can accomplish a task they can come to a calm, peace after a long day seeing their confidence shine.
Caring for others is something I have always enjoyed. As a Nurse and Teacher I have had the opportunity to care for many people. My patient and considerate personality , extreme dependability with vast life experiences , a Master degree and a sincere desire to do my best, always make me a great choice when considering care for a loved one.

Hi my name is Immacula, I am a certified HHA , 2 years working in rehabilitation communities 3+ years working with patients in hospice, and patients who have dementia. I became an caregiver because I love working with the elderly and proving I can make their day better assisting them with their ADLs. I am very hard working, i drive myself to be better to better my patients. I am very confident, trusting, loving, and caring. I've always told myself I'd become certified to help as much as I can and that is something o achieved and I am very proud to be assisting and helping out I look forward to helping those in need .
What makes me a great caregiver is making a difference in someone's life by helping them and their families. Most importantly helping someone get stronger and make them happy. I became a caregiver because of my grandmother who was sick with cancer, her caregiver inspired me, they way she made my grandmother happy and the way she treated my grandmother. I accomplished my goals by becoming a caregiver and going forward by becoming a nurse. My patients all told me to become a nurse and that inspired me to go to school for nursing. Being a caregiver is the best job. I dont regret anything
I am a 42 year old mother of 4 (older children). I live in the Mastic/Moriches area. I'm a well experienced CNA since 2004. Many years ago when my oldest child was 4 we found out she had kidney disease. She had surgeries and other medical procedures. She sees many doctors and specialists. I learned a lot from her illness and it made me want to get into nursing. I started off in a nursing facility and worked all units, short term and long term. I got hands on experience with many medical procedures from watching and helping the nurses and doctors. It added onto my skills as a CNA. After 12 years I decided to go to private home care. If a person is able to stay in their home I believe it's truly the best decision. I've done pretty much everything in home care over the past several years. No task is too big or small. I enjoy helping people. I have experience with most illnesses. I also work companion care. Any questions at all please feel free to contact me.

My patience and understanding makes me a fairly good caregiver. After single handedly caring for dear aunt for 10 years I found my passion and decided to to take A step further and become a certified home health aide . My experience in caring for my loved one was challenging but great it had thought me patience, sharpen my interpersonal skills, thought me love beyond all measures but most of all it gave me joy in others happy and I would do it all over again.
