I am looking for a part time job, somewhere I can bring my 7 month old son along with me.

I started as a volunteer with Hospice of Michigan as a teen. Stayed with it. I'm a happy, vibrant artist as well. Animal lover. And have a true love for creating a comfortable environment and offering companionship through any stage of life.

I pay great attention to detail and with over 10 years of experience in the field I have developed a strength in anticipating a person's needs. I find great joy and purpose in caring for others and improving their quality of life. I feel that excelling at helping another person live their best life is not only an honor but a privilege. I hold myself and quality of work at a high standard which equates to respect for one's home and space, multiple inspections on safety and assistance equipment as well as a strong attention placed on medication management and assessing care plans.

What makes me a great caregiver is my ability to empathize without having pity towards someone. I've always been incredibly honest and true to what I love and it shows when I'm working as a caregiver. Being able to be selfless in a usually selfish world is relieving to me. I'm detailed oriented and love to be a help. A personal achievement I'm proud of is graduating high school, it was a hard road. The next achievement would be getting a previous client of mine to finish their whole snack, orally, which never happened.

Hello, my name is Michael, and I've been in the care giving field since 2010. Being a care giver wasn't something I ever saw myself doing, but after getting a job to support myself in college, I found that it was something I wasn't just naturally great at, but that I enjoyed doing as well. Meeting people of different ages and backgrounds over the years has been such an amazing experience for me. I just love being able to get to know individuals, and being a light for them in an otherwise difficult world. I'm not the most outgoing person around, but I do have a knack for building deep relationships with those whom I care for. I've had more than one job where I come into work and I have 2 or 3 people immediately shout, "Michael is heeere!" It's such an amazing feeling when that happens, and I know it helps brighten up both their day and mine. I'm also someone who holds professionalism in the highest regard. As much as I enjoy building relationships with others, I always maintain those professional boundaries. I do my absolute best for those I work with, but I also realize that confidentiality is an extremely big deal, and that keeping their personal life separate from mine is of the utmost importance. As for my interests, I'm someone who enjoys reading, watching movies, gaming, learning about history, traveling, sports, cooking, and going on walks. I am hoping that after reading this that you will consider me when trying to fill the role of a care giver for yourself or a loved one. I have experience with just about every major disability out there, as well as a variety of medical equipment and medication administration. I even have experience when it comes to handling personal finances. Currently I am seeking something full time (30+ hours), but I'm open to part time work if it fits into my schedule. I like to stay positive. I find it easier to smile rather than frown. I like to look back on my day and be personally proud of the job I've done. If my work is not positivly affecting someone what am I doing? I like doing this because I get just as much joy from helping others as they get from me helping them.

I'm a kind, caring , compassionate individual who enjoys helping the Elderly as they transition into their later years. I've always enjoyed the company and stories of my elderly clients and the friendship/companionship's we develop with one another.

My personality traits that express my care for others are passionate selfless strong willed courageous. For the past 16 years I have been compassionate in this field and trying to learn every thing I can to be the best I can be for others. The best thing about helping other and being a caregiver is that we get a chance to be there for people that need us and may not have anyone else.

Caregiving is rewarding as a career in that it gives you joy by allowing you to make a difference in peoples lives. The actions and efforts you put forth as a caregiver provides an essential peice of our human need for love, empathy, compassion. True selflessness, to do for others, simply because to give is to truly receive.
