I am a National Certified Patient Care Technician.I have experience with people diagnosed with dementia, strokes, cancer, C. O. P. D, total care, quadriplegic, diabetes, high blood pressure, neuropathy, CHF, and other heart conditions, Multiple sclerosis. I'm sure I missed a few, will update later. I have experience with hoyer lift, wheel chair, lift, transfer, ambulatory, bed pan, colostomy, urinal, catheter care, perineal care, feeding, cooking, taking all vital signs. I have been a CNA for 30 +years. Ten or more of those years as a Caregiver, also. I have experience in long-term and short-term care. I have training in home health, hospice, palliative care, private sitter, and companion care. I work as a attendant now with At Home Healthcare, United Healthcare and a Diamond Professional Caregiver with CareLinx. I've taken the academy classes with CareLinx so I could refresh my skills. I have passed my background screening and I am CPR certified, too. I enjoy working with seniors because some of them have lived some adventurous lives. My greatest achievement is making a difference in their lives and they tell you so. When your day is over you know you have done your best. You can look up and smile.

Love being a Senior Care Provider. I took care of my mother for 9 Year's after she had a stroke. Later on she was diagnosed with COPD, CHF, emphysema etc. After my Mom passed, I decided I'm going to do senior care. I have done it since then. I have worked with two great families. I love providing care and being a companion to the elderly. It is such a rewarding thing to do. I'm not one to move around i like to have a permanent position. I worked with a site Care.com Senior Care. Have excellent references and years of experience. I currently work on Sat and Sun at a women and children's domestic violence and sexual assault shelter. I am a mom so I have a very mom-like personality. I am nice, responsible, helpful, willing. I was attracted to being a caregiver by the jobI am at now. I love helping out people who are in need. I enjoy caring for people who need it. Giving love and being there for them.

I have always had a desire to make a career out of caring for others. Ever since I was young I knew the medical field was where I was meant to be. I am a compassionate and empathetic person by nature, and have no problem connecting with people from all walks of life. The most rewarding and fulfilling thing for me is when I am able to make another person's life easier or more pleasant, and I hope to continue that in my role as a caregiver! I have 5 amazing kids and a wonderful fiance. We love spending free time gardening and loving on our animals.

Helping people and keeping a smile on their face makes me a great caregiver. I became a great careprovider when my mother passed away in 2002. What I enjoy most about being a careprovider spending time with my patients and listening to the stories. I'm proud of myself for accomplishing getting my Medical Office Specialist Degree,becoming Braille Certified,and getting a degree in Computer Tech.

I love giving people joy especially ones who become lonely as they get older. Just need one on one time with someone to just listen and care and help in any way they may need. Im great with people and love working with them getting to know their life stories and even sharing mine. They help me just as much as i help them. Some of the people in need of our care just don't have anyone and this job isn't just a job to me it's caring about and for others.

I became a caregiver at 18. It was a eye opener. Not only did I become friends but I loved the person i was taking care of. I dont regret it one bit. I am a very caring person. I want to make a difference in the world. I want to help people who dont have anyone to help them. Most will let a person lay in filth or not feed them when they sre saying they are hungry. It sickens me that no one really cares. Thats not me.
