I, Shonita Badillo became a caregiver because I love working with the elderly and, sick. Caregiving has always been my passion because, when I was a teenager I cared for my grandmother. I enjoy being a caregiver because, it gives me joy to see a smile on my clients face, and, also I feel I can bring a lot to their life such as understanding patience and, compassion. I feel I have achieved experience over the last 15 years. As I continue to work as a caregiver I feel more confident that I know my job and, that I can relate to my clients better. I have 15 years of experience as a certified nursing assistant. I have worked in a hospitals nursing homes and, private homes. My future plans is to futher my nursing experience. I hope to find a nice family to work for because I feel I have a lot to bring to a patients life. My availability is working days part time or fulltime.

I have experience in cooking, cleaning, transporting to appointments or errands, giving meds, restorative therapy, grooming, transferring, etc. I worked in assisted living for a few years and also I trained in hospital. I am a very hard working, honest, compassionate, dependable person. I define myself as a friendly person with a natural capability of providing continuous care to older adults, physically challenged people, as well as children. Empathy is embedded in my personality, also, I am a good listener. I have a track record of giving elderly and child care and immensely enjoy each moment of my work. I would like to believe that I would be a perfect fit for anyone but thats not true. What I can say about myself is that I am dedicated, I am a hard worker, and I am a fast learner. I have been in healthcare some way, shape, or form since I was 15. I started off in a nursing home in the kitchen, went to work at a group home for developmentally challenged individuals, then I moved to a memory care unit while I resided in Florida, and now I work in emergency services as a dispatcher. I have been certified to pass meds and I am CPR certified. I hope to hear from you and to help you or your loved ones.

I have been a CNA since 2010. Cpr and Non-violent crisis intervention certificates are current. Taking Care of and helping others has always been my calling. I am very empathetic, so it's easy for me to relate and help people according to their needs. I find it very rewarding to know that I've made a difference in someone's life.

What attracts me of being a caregiver is I'm a vary love able person and this is my passion to help elder people. I want to become a CNA. The most thing I enjoy the most is taking care of my patients/residents and make sure they get the proper care

The qualities I posses is a set of intrinsic qualities that certain human beings possess and others do not.
