I feel my attitude makes me a great Caregiver. I'm very outgoing, a good listener also conversationist but not overly talkative. I like being a Caregiver because I am a very caring, loving person and enjoy helping people. Also the achievement I am proud of is that people I am in the company of enjoy me because I focus my attention directly on them.
My interest and love for the elderly and children is truly intrinsic and I genuinely enjoy working with older adults and children. I take pride in renewing a senior's interest in living, helping them to exercise cognitive functioning, reinforcing socially acceptable patterns of behavior and most importantly improving the quality of life of my clients and their family members. I also love kids, I have 2 boys of my own so I enjoy working with children. I've completed the Nurse Aide training program. I have 4 years of experience working with the elderly. I'm highly motivated,a fast learner, punctual, efficient, and a great listener. I'm also easy to get along with and a people person. I have excellent communication skills.
Hello! My name is Hanna and I'm currently working at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. I love being in healthcare and with my experience in the hospital I have realized that I enjoy working with the elderly more than any other groups of people. I enjoy being able to not only provide care but provide companionship and build relationships with my patients. I'm proud of myself for the amount of work I've put into my career at such a young age. :)
To be a caregiver means that you understand good health, treatment, respect, and affection. I believe I received my caring abilities from my parents, and grandparents. I believe I was blessed and very fortunate to be raised and shown how to respect my peers, and elders as well. Respect their views, opinions, and accepting them knowing that everyone is different. Being taught how to love or give care to someone was easy for me. Now I am doing what i've essentially always known to do. It's in my blood!

I wouldn't change it for the world. It brings joy helping others, I use to only want this career to only follow in my family's foot steps. I see now it's for the love, and passion, the joy of helping those who are in need. I pray one day someone will feel the same about me. Im outgoing, compassionate. Patient, and very understanding. I have many many skills I have developed over the years, Hospice, Feeding Tube, Dementia, sundowners, and etc...
Hello, I have been a nurse for over 12 years and have worked for same facility for over 10 of those years. I am a naturally caring person and love helping people and making them happy. Something I greatly value about myself is that I always keep my word and whenever a patient needs something I do it quickly to keep customer service excellence high. My greatest achievement is being a nurse, a mother, a wife, and a daughter. I strive my hardest to be the best at those things.
Empathy and compassion. ... By showing both empathy and compassion as a caregiver will let the person I'm caring for allow trust also shows I care about the person and will do what I can to help them. Attracting me to being a caregiver was know the help I could bring. Also knowing one day I will need the same help. I enjoying almost every aspect of a caregiver. More so putting smiles on those faces who feel they have been forgotten. That's my achievement in this field making those happy, and feeling valued.
