Growing up, my godmother owned WEE Welcome You Daycare. From 2011 to 2016, I spent summers volunteering there as an English and Math teacher. Since then, I have steadily been babysitting for families in my local community. For the year of 2016, I cared for a pre-mature infant from Friday afternoon through Sunday night as her mother worked. For the past year, I have watched a family of 5 children. I am enrolled in Abilene Christian University in Texas, though I will spend my breaks in the St. Louis, Missouri area. I am an education major pursuing a career in teaching theater in middle/high school. I have a Honda Accord. I am active and can help with any physical needs. When my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia, I began to help care for her. Whether it be reading books, cooking, going on short walks, or providing for key safety attributes, I am more than willing to help care for others who are in need. I am a certified Best Buddies Ambassador, and served as a tutor to students in my high school's Special School District during the school year.
