Hello! My name is Ocean and I have been caregiving for 7 years. I was a certified nursing assistant for 4 years. The passion and care that I put into each resident is what makes me a great caregiver. Going the extra mile each and every time. Helping people is what makes me happy. I have cared for a wide range of people. I am also familiar with hoyer lifts, sit to stands, patients with feeding tubes, ostomys, catheters, pacemakers, wound vacs and so much more. Starting out I was a caregiver at an assistant living/memory care unit only and working night shift. I loved it so much I wanted to do more. I KNEW this is what I was born to do. A year later I had moved on to getting my CNA license working for a rehabilitation, respite care, memory care and hospice facility. I enjoyed being there for people and doing the things most people wouldn't. It was hard at times not being able to spend a good amount of time with a resident especially if they were needing extra care. 3 years later I had decided to work in home care, so I could give the best quality care and time to a patient. It is the most rewarding job. I love that I'm able to help someone stay comfortably in thier home without having to go to a facility.
