My name is Terrica Watkins and I am not a caregiver by trade. However, I first engaged in the act of caregiving when I found out my elderly mother was diagnosed with cancer. During this time, I would ensure she took her medicine, took her to ran errands, and I provided selfless companionship. In order to be a caregiver, I believe in the power of compassion, empowerment, authenticity, patience, and flexibility. The achievement that I am most proud of was when I received my Master's Degree in Communication Studies in 2014. I was the first in my family to go to college and achieve this milestone.
