I make sure I am providing the care that I would want my loved ones to receive no matter what. I was attracted to caregiving when I unfortunately had to care for my grandmother who was like my second mom to me. She had neglectful care prior to me stepping in and taking care of her with the assistance of other family members during certain time frame rotations and I just couldn't understand why anyone wouldn't want to give proper decent living human care to another. Knowing that someone is able to know and see that someone cared for them today and cared enough to take the time to be there in the most caring and professional way possible. Seeing patients smiles after I help them with tasks.
