About Anne

After graduating from St. Ambrose University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I sought a position in social services. While working with the Child Abuse Council, I coached teens and refugees during a pre- and post-natal counseling period. I learned by working with mothers from various backgrounds and situations. I take pride in the skills I developed. I gained valuable communication skills conducting prenatal group sessions, and counseling mothers and their families on topics such as substance abuse, parenting techniques, and health care services. I learned strategies for empowering others by assisting in goal setting, preparing and monitoring participant schedules, and encouraging participation in appointments and obligations. This task was often inhibited by cultural barriers or interference from family members, teaching me the importance of understanding an individual’s situation in order to meet their needs. I gained valuable professional skills that translate to various work environments. With my position involving off-site responsibilities, I became adept at time management, working independently, and effectively conveying my progress. I learned to be comfortable in unfamiliar environments, recognize unsafe situations, and to interact in an outgoing and friendly manner with clients of all backgrounds. While working for New Found Hope, I learned that I enjoy working with individuals in need of special care. I received positive feedback from clients and m

I have experience; first I took care of mom at home and in The Nursing home. She suffered from congestive heart failure and dementia. Same for 2 of my elderly aunts as well. I believe in life that has great quality of life. In as much as possible read with or to friend to exercise that brain. I enjoy being company and meeting clients needs. I have been blessed with compassion and joy that I can share. I believe all clients have done so much for the community they certainly deserve to be treated with loving care and respect. They deserve the best! I believe everyone has a call in life My call is to assist clients that can use my services..I am proud that I have been given the opportunity to work with clients that can use my help. I love preparing meals and seeing the client satisfied with the meal preparation. I have also been blessed with kindness, patience and lots of love for everyone.
