I absolutely caring for those who cannot care for themselves. It brings me joy knowing that they are able to keep their dignity. I became a caregiver when my mother started showing signs of Alzheimer's and not being able to care for herself. I went from being a receptionist to a CNA.

I have been a caregiver since I was 15 years old and still in high school. Today having over 20 years of experience, I am still filled with the lively energy that is needed for this kind of work. I've always cherished the honor to love others and have taken pride in the journey to make a difference in someone's life. I am able to build the companionship that's needed to care for another with enthusiasm. This has proven to comfort the fears that surface with life's challenges as people need care in life. I have mastered empathizing with encouragement to calm the storms of life and handle any crisis with kindness and patience. A variety of issues can surface on any given day so problem solving in a positive and timely way with flexibility has given me a strong record of client satisfaction. It comforts families that I offer so much experience and expertise having worked for many years in nursing homes, hospitals, private duty homes, hospice home health, knowledgeable with dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, physical therapy, dialysis. I must be attentive to the client and family with perfect communication skills in order to serve and maintain the ability to monitor the health and personal care of the clients daily lives. Most importantly be dedicated, supportive, dependable, trustworthy, and compassionate in order to have peace for the family that the client will have a better quality of life. I posses the knowledge to do this and thrive to be improving everyday life in many ways. The rewards are huge and I was born to serve others. I ground myself in medical knowledge and crave learning and improving all ways I can professionally. Most importantly I have built many cherished relationships along my journey with caregiving, ones which will last a lifetime. To me that is beyond an amazing opportunity and I anxiously await the next opportunity to be caregiving.
