I have always had a passion for the elderly. It's actually carried over through my grown kids because my husband shares this passion with me and we instilled that passion in our kids as they grew up. I have spent the last 8 yrs of my life taking care of my grandmother, whom had dementia. Also caring for my father who was a dialysis and wound care patient. Now that they both are gone I am ready to give my time, love and skills to someone else's loved one that needs care and companionship. I am available Monday thru Friday from 8am till 4 pm!

I became interested in being a caregiver when my grandmother, who had alzheimer's syndrome, was being cared for by my mother. I ended up giving my mother some weekend respite by caring for my grandmother one day per each weekend. My best achievement was in caring for a gentleman aged 108. With proper care and meal preparation, utilizing my skill in ayurvedic food and spice knowledge, I managed to have him up and doing up to six laps per day (with his walker) throughout the house. He enjoyed the activity and the change of environment immensely. He enjoyed the food and basically ate every single morsel. He increased his body's strength, as well as strengthening his memory. It was truly a miraculous change in his health and overall quality of life.

Hello! I'm name is Autumn and I would love to be your next caregiver! I absolutely love helping people and I have been that way my entire life. I am trustworthy, loving, caring, energetic, helping, responsible, and understanding person. I knew that I wanted to be a doctor since I was just a little girl because I wanted to work with people and do my best to make them feel better. I am currently in school to be an Athletic Trainer for Major League Baseball some day as well as work with wounded veterans at a VA Hospital. While I am in school, I figured that being a caregiver would be an excellent job for me. I admire all people so this job comes easy to me! My goal when working with patients is to make them smile, put a little sunshine in their day, and just to let them know that they have someone there. I hope to work with some amazing families in the near future!

irrespective of what your health status looks like, everyone deserves to live a happy and fulfilled life, I love to see people around me happy, no matter what you're going through, money is one of the basics we need in life, ofcourse one of my motive of doing this job, but in life money not everything, money can't buy life, happiness, good health, love, sometimes security, those are gifts from God.
I became a caregiver when my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia. Prior to this I had a long career in the corporate customer service field and felt that my patience, empathy and dedication would be of better use in the healthcare field, I feel I am now in a better place helping people who actually need help and support. It has been much more rewarding for me and I intend to pursue my LVN and beyond beginning in the fall.
